Changing the world, one meal at a time...
Everyone deserves to eat clean, wholesome food, but there is no such thing as a free lunch!
Our desire to enjoy nutritious, biologically appropriate food should be reflected by the time and energy we are willing to devote to securing it. Two generations of the naive consumption of convenience products has resulted in an intolerable human condition. To reverse this, we must all take action to perpetuate a new kind of agriculture. Everyone who genuinely cares about their own, their family's, or their community's health should invest a portion of their waking life in the production of or building access to such food.
Visiting the organic section of the supermarket is not enough!
Your choices matter. Giant agribusinesses have moved into the specialty food market in a very big way in the last five years, because people like you and us are making a noticeable impact on food economics. Many people have simply switched brands at the grocery store in an effort to avoid chemical residues in their dinner. Ultimately, though, the same companies who make the conventional food often reap the profits of your "alternatives."
Words like "natural" and "organic" on a package are no excuse to suspend critical thinking!
We believe in a transparent, accountable food system. Ethics, compassion, and spiritual satisfaction figure prominently in our stewardship. We choose to eat what we believe is most rewarding to our family's well-being and respectful of the global ecosystem. It is more satisfying for us to feed others at the same time, and we take great joy in sharing our kind of agriculture. We are committed to honesty and integrity in everything we do.
We want a healthy future for our children, but we much teach them, by example, to seize and protect this privilege!
Our continued reliance on government and industry to provide us with a nourishing environment will only reinforce the current state of things. It is our duty to our families to become empowered and take responsibility for our food in whatever ways we are able, and to do it now! Words without action will only raise another generation afflicted with skyrocketing rates of obesity, diabetes, cancer, and mental illness. How much impact can we have right now by choosing clean food? You'll never know until you try!
